NAB to acquire LanternPay – Software – Finance – Strategy

NAB is established to acquire health care declaring and payments system LanternPay, owned by Australian fintech InLoop, for an undisclosed sum.

The proposed acquisition, which is subject to regulatory acceptance, would enable NAB to increase its Overall health Sector Claims and Payments Assistance (HICAPS) with LanternPay’s technological innovation.

LanternPay’s system is utilised by the health care, incapacity, coverage and aged treatment sectors, and was “reason-crafted to standardise the claims and payment encounter for all companies of services to govt and private health care schemes,” NAB mentioned in a statement.

The bank mentioned that integrating LanternPay with HICAPS would “simplify administration and maximize payment choices when visiting a health care service provider.”
