Yarra Valley H2o has switched to Rimini Avenue to lower the cost of supporting its Oracle stack.
The new assist arrangement covers the utility’s Oracle databases, middleware, utilities customer care and billing programs.
Yarra Valley H2o is in the midst of a electronic transformation “that incorporates upgrading and enhancing its growing old systems”, head of ICT functions Sandra Sanderson explained in a assertion.

The new assist arrangement was couched as a way to help cost containment, with savings funnelled again into the electronic transformation.
Rimini Street stated that Yarra Valley H2o would see “a major reduction in annual assist fees” for the Oracle suite but did not give figures.
