The issues commenced at about nine.30am AEST and appeared to have been settled by around four.30pm.
“The NBN satellite network experienced a reduction of connectivity impacting about sixty,000 consumers nationwide, that are related to satellite 1A only,” NBN Co mentioned in an advisory recognize.
“Customers may perhaps have experienced a reduction of provider or be not able to reattach to the NBN satellite network.”
The advisory said – fairly garbled – that “network engineers have confirmed that a 31 diploma roll on the satellite spacecraft switching targeted visitors to a backup pc, which has brought on targeted visitors to turn out to be muted. The antennas will now be realigned to unmute targeted visitors.”
